The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Big Island summits from 6 am to 6 pm on Saturday, March 13.
Total snow accumulations of up to two inches are expected, with winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
