Water will be temporarily shut off in different areas of the island from Mar. 10 to Mar. 11. Below are the affected areas and times.

AFFECTED AREAS:  ALONG WEST LANIKĀULA STREET BETWEEN KALILI STREET AND KINOʻOLE STREET, INCLUDING UH-HILO CAMPUS, ULULANI STREET, KAPIʻOLANI STREET, AND ANY SIDE ROADS AND LANES; SOUTH HILO, HAWAI‘I

TIME: 2:00 A.M. TO 3:00 A.M.

AFFECTED AREAS: ALL SERVICES ALONG KAHANA DRIVE, KALEHUA ROAD, KALŌPĀ MAUKA ROAD, KALANIAI ROAD AND LOWER PORTION OF WAIKA‘ALULU ROAD; HĀMĀKUA, HAWAI‘I

TIME: 8:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M.

The affected areas may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.

Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.

Should you experience any unusual problems during or after the flushing period, call Mr. Carl Nishimura, District Supervisor, at 961-8790.
