The Lions Club of Kona Community Foundation announced they will be awarding a total of six college scholarships to be awarded to graduating seniors of Konawaena High School 2020-2021 school year. Applications are
available at the schools resource office via Ms. Bobbie Awa, or via the clubs website at https://e-clubhouse.org/sites/konahi. To access the list of scholarships, click on Club Projects.

During these COVID times, it is increasingly more difficult for non-profits to raise much needed funds to support our communities, which is why, the Lions Club of Kona membership is especially proud that they are able to provide a total of $6000 in scholarships to support our youth.

The Lions Club of Kona has 61 members and meets via Zoom, the third Monday at 6:30 p.m. Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs. For more information or to get involved with the Lions Club of Kona, complete an application on the website or contact Lion Mitch Tam at 808-756-3838.
