Section of Old Saddle Road Reopened

A section of Old Saddle Road was reopened after several downed trees were found in the roadway.

According to Hawai‘i County Police Department, the road is now open between Daniel K. Inouye Highway and the lower Waiki‘i Ranch gate.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution as crews continue to work in the area.
