Kealakehe High School canceled its homecoming dance and celebration Friday night following a gun threat made against the festivities.
The school canceled its football team’s practice on Friday, as well as the homecoming dance, and evacuated the campus.
The Hawai‘i Police Department continues to investigate but had not determined a perpetrator as of Saturday.
