There will be a temporary one-way traffic pattern along a portion of Manono Street in Hilo to accommodate mass participants attending the Convoy of Hope Community Outreach event at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium fairgrounds on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019.
Between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m., traffic will be allowed to flow in the makai, or northerly direction on Manono Street between Pi‘ilani Street and Kuawa Street.
The northbound lane adjacent to the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium will be closed to through traffic.
During these times, mauka or southbound traffic will be diverted to Kuawa Street.
