Learn About Homeowner’s Insurance at Free Seminar

Hawai‘i Community Federal Credit Union will present a free seminar on homeowner’s insurance on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at HCFCU’s Kaloko branch in Kailua-Kona.

Led by Eugene Tagawa, an agent with Atlas Insurance Agency, the seminar will explore the value of homeowner’s insurance in the event of unfortunate circumstances like theft or fire.

Attendees will leave with an understanding of the following key points:

  • What is homeowner’s insurance;
  • Liability and umbrella insurance;
  • Insurance for different types of homes;
  • How insurance can help cover costs in the event of accidental damage to another person’s property or if a visitor is injured;
