6 AM, Tuesday, June 25, 2019: Hawai‘i County Civil Defense Tsunami Information message

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) reports an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 occurred at approximately 11:06 PM HST in the vicinity of Komandorskiye Ostrova Russia Region.

PTWC confirms there is NO TSUNAMI THREAT to the Island and State of Hawai‘i.
