This is the last day of the Merrie Monarch Festival’s week-long schedule of cultural events and activities.

Merrie Monarch Invitational Hawaiian Arts Fair
9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 27
Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium
An annual favorite, this free event features local artists, crafters and entertainment.

Grand Naniloa Events
10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Marketplace at Grand Naniloa
Midnight to 4 a.m., Official Merrie Monarch After Party

Merrie Monarch Royal Parade
10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 27
Downtown Hilo
One of the festival’s most entertaining and fun events for the entire family, the parade begins and ends at Pauahi St. (Kilauea Ave. — Keawe St. — Waiānuenue Ave. — Kamehameha Ave.).

Entertainment at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium
Noon, Ke Ola Pono No Nā Kūpuna, Haunani Medeiros

Group Hula ʻAuana
6 p.m., Saturday, April 27
Edith Kanakaʻole Stadium
Hālau hula perform modern style dances, followed by an awards presentation for all group winners.

AWARDS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AROUND MIDNIGHT
