MOVIE UNDER THE STARS – DR. SEUSS HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS (DEC. 16 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.)
Join the resort for an evening of outdoor holiday entertainment at the resort’s lawn. Experience a family night under the stars watching Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas, while supporting The Hawai‘i Food Basket to help families in need this holiday season.
“Our Ohana here at the Sheraton Kona would like to invite the community to enjoy a family night of entertainment while raising goods for The Hawai‘i Food Basket,” said General Manager Paul Evasick. “Join us under the stars for family laughter and enjoyment.
Complimentary lemonade, popcorn and movie viewing will be provided for the public’s enjoyment. Suggested canned food donation. Bring towels, blanket or low profile chairs no larger than nine-inch from the ground for seating. Complimentary parking is provided. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted and seating is first come, first serve.

ALOHA KALIKIMAKA SANTA ARRIVAL ON SAILING CANOE (Dec. 24 at 3 p.m.)
Join the resort this Christmas Eve on Pa‘akai Point as the resort welcome Santa Claus to Keauhou Bay via the Kini Kini Hawaiian Sailing Canoe! Come wave, sing, and enjoy Santa’s sailing skills. Once onshore, Santa will enter the lobby to greet all those naughty and nice keiki!
SPECIAL CHRISTMAS EVE LUAU AT HĀLEO (Dec. 24)

CHRISTMAS DAY PRIX FIX DINNER (Dec. 25)
Spend Christmas evening at Rays on the Bay while enjoying a farm-to-table inspired four-course meal. “Christmas at the Bay” Holiday plated dinner includes highlights of smoked butternut bisque, truffle-ulu croutons, crème fraiche, followed by a garden baby greens salad with hints of sliced apples, dried cranberries, local feta cheese. The main course includes the option of braised Osso Bucco served with roasted white asparagus and yukon mash potato or seared lemon-pepper crusted scallops, mushroom-prosciutto risotto. HĀLEO NEW YEARS EVE LUAU CELEBRATION (Dec. 31 from 6 p.m.)
Hula into 2019 with Hāleo Luau. Dress up in your best vintage Hawaiian wear and join the resort on the Hawai‘i Lawn for an evening filled with Hawaiian Style entertainment. A luau dinner buffet features Lomi Lomi Salmon, Ahi Poke, Poi, Teriyaki Beef, Island Style Kalua Pork, Grilled Island Style Fish, Shoyu Glazed Whole Chicken, Garlic-Herb Marinated Turkey, Taro Mashed Potatoes, Puna Papaya Panna Cotta and more.
