The National Weather Service has issued a hurricane warning for the island of Hawai‘i. Due to these severe weather conditions and recommendations from local authorities, Keauhou Shopping Center is closed today, Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, and will remain closed until further notice.
Note that businesses may decide to stay open, while the shopping center is officially closed. Contact the individual business directly, for information.
The shopping center is NOT an evacuation zone, for those seeking refuge. Please take the proper precautionary measures.
The center will provide further information regarding reopening as soon as it is determined by the National Weather Service and local authorities that the center is safe to open.
