Kamehameha Schools will close its campuses, preschools and offices on Hawaiʻi Island, Maui and Molokaʻi on Wednesday until further notice in anticipation of effects from Hurricane Lane.

The safety of the students, families and employees is of utmost importance, and they will send status updates throughout the week regarding KS operations as Lane approaches the island. No other program or office closures are planned at this time, however, athletic activities are cancelled.

Kamehameha Schools leaders are in regular contact with the Hawaiʻi Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA) and are monitoring the progress of the storm.
