Federal Grants Workshops to Be Held in Hilo & Kona

Workshops in Hilo and Kona that will be held in September, hosted by the Office of Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, will assist residents with US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Economic Development Administration (EDA) federal grants.
Staff from Rep. Gabbard’s office, along with federal agency representatives, will provide information and answer questions about grant opportunities and applications, and how to obtain financial assistance for rural and distressed communities.
The workshops will be held in partnership with the USDA Rural Development Hawaiʻi Office, the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration Hawaiʻi Office and support from the County of Hawaiʻi.
- The Kona workshop will be on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, from 9 to noon, at the West Hawai‘i Civic Center, Building A, Kona Council Chambers. RSVP here or contact (808) 541-1986.
