The Hawai‘i Fire Department reports a brush fire on the slopes of Mauna Loa above Volcano at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018.
It was reported that the active brush fire is in the area of Keauhou Ranch and one-quarter mile from Powerline Road, moving south towards Kapapala Ranch.
