A free review of certificates of home insurance and legal consultation for Puna residents affected by the Kīlauea volcano eruption will be offered by Attorney Jeffrey E. Foster.
The largest insurer in the world, Lloyd’s of London, issued dozens of homeowner’s insurance policies people living in and around lava now flowing from the Kīlauea Volcano.
Despite collecting millions of dollars in premiums, Lloyd’s has failed to honor claims filed by the people who have lost everything due to this natural disaster.
Many homeowners were discouraged from filing a claim or were ignored because of ambiguities in their policies.

The reviews will take place at the Grand Naniloa Hotel in Hilo in the Palm Room on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from noon to 4 p.m.
