Hawai‘i Artist Bo Napoleon Releases New Single
Hawai‘i singer-songwriter Bo Napoleon has released a new single July 6, 2018, entitled Poolside, through Mensch House Records. The California-born artist has family roots in Hawai‘i and debuted a hit single Born and Raised in 2011, which aired on local radio stations.
In the fall of 2010 he left college to pursue a full-time music career. That same year, he wrote the hit songs Alcoholic and Wade in Your Water for the group Common Kings. In 2015, Napoleon released If that’s OK in Hawai‘i where it drew critical acclaim and commercial success. His new single Poolside is a love song opening with mellow acoustic guitar and imbued with a romantic melody.
Napoleon has been playing music since the age of nine. His influences include artists like Bob Marley, Max Martin, Kanye West, Craig David, Ne-Yo, Bruno Mars, Fiji and his father Nappy—Napoleon’s personal idol and well-known Hawaiian singer and hula dancer.
