The Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Conservation and Resources (DOCARE) officers cited two more people for allegedly being in a closed area in the East Rift Eruption Zone over the weekend.

The citations are petty misdemeanors but under a governor’s proclamation people convicted could be fined as much as $5,000 and/or be sentenced to one year in jail.
