Tree Trimming Work Fronting Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel

The County Highways Maintenance Division announces they will be doing tree trimming work on the large banyan tree at the Ka‘ahumanu Place intersection with Ali‘i Dr./Palani Rd., fronting the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, beginning on Monday, July 2, 2018, through Friday, July 6, 2018.  Work is scheduled between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather conditions permitting.  There will be no work on Wednesday, July 4.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Hawai‘i County Department of Public Works apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the community for their patience and understanding.
