Waikoloa’s Lava Lava Beach Club is teaming up with SimplicityHR by ALTRES and BAYADA Home Care to raise much-needed funds to help displaced victims of the ongoing Kīlauea eruption

The “Let’s Give Hawaii!” campaign is modeled after the successful “Let’s Give Kauai” campaign that raised $57,000 for flood relief help to aid those impacted in the wake of the Hanalei flooding. Lava Lava Beach Club Kauai organized the campaign along with SimplicityHR by ALTRES and BAYADA Home Care, which each committed $10,000 to the Kaua‘i effort.

Lava Lava Beach Club and partners SimplicityHR by ALTRES and BAYADA Home Care will again be donating $10,000 each to the Hawaii Community Foundation, which set up the fund to accept all monetary donations.

Hawaii Community Foundation will disperse funds to those needing help in the lower Puna area.

Those who also want to give can make checks payable to “Hawaii Community Foundation’s Let’s Give Hawaii” and drop it off at Lava Lava Beach Club in Waikoloa, Huggo’s or On the Rocks in Kona (see addresses below).

BAYADA Home Care will also accept donations at their locations statewide (see addresses below).

In addition, Lava Lava Beach Club will also be setting up a Facebook donation page, where donors can direct funds to Hawaii Community Foundation.

“Lava Lava Beach Club and our partners are 100% committed to helping Hawai‘i Island residents affected by the devastating eruption and lava flow,” said Lava Lava Beach Club’s Director of Operations Nick Roschi. “Although we are located on the west side of the island and about a hundred miles away, we are an island community and all of us want to help the Puna folks in need.”

Every dollar given through the “Let’s Give Hawaii” campaign stays on-island and helps Puna.
