Due to the volcanic conditions in the area, the Volcano Art Center is canceling the Jazz in the Forest concerts scheduled for June 9, 2018.

The quilt show on the weekend of July 7 is still scheduled—check for updates on the VAC website.

As of today, VAC plans to continue with the Jazz in the Forest concert schedule in August. “We respectfully request Pele’s cooperation in continuing the music series in August and thereafter,” a VAC spokesperson said.

On Aug. 11, the Volcano Art Center plans to offer the Brazilian concerts that were previously scheduled, including vocalist-trumpet magician Andrea Lindborg and composer-pianist Loren Wilken, along with Jean Pierre Thoma and the Jazztones.
