Police scanner:
Steam is coming from crack on Highway 130, according to an unofficial report heard over the Hawai‘i Police Department scanner.

All HPD units are being ordered to go to the north section of Highway 130 now above the crack.

Highway 130 between Highway 132 and Kalapana Street is being closed again this morning, May 7, 2018, pending further evaluation.

It was opened earlier this morning (at about 5 a.m.) for a brief period, but it now closed.
