Kahilu Theatre will present a staged reading of Love Letters in the Mike Luce Studio at the Kahilu Theatre in Waimea on Friday and Saturday, March 16 and 17, 2018, at 7 p.m.

Monica Abrahamsen and Michael Thomas will bring to life A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters, an evocative story that follows the lives of two friends writing letters to one another over the course of their lives.

The play is comprised of these letters, filling in the gaps as the characters grow older, walk their separate paths, and continue to share confidences of their innermost thoughts and desires with one another.

Being physically apart but spiritually as close as only true lovers can be, this touching and frequently funny performance makes it eloquently clear what it means to have a life-long friend.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online, by calling (808) 885-6868 or in person at the Kahilu Theatre Box Office located at 67-1186 Lindsey Road in Kamuela.
