Hawai‘i Lt. Gov. Doug Chin, Democratic candidate for Hawai‘i’s First congressional district, issued the following statement on the second shutdown of the Federal government in as many months on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018.

Gov. Chin. “The people of Hawai‘i—and the thousands of families who work for the Federal government—deserve better than the dysfunctional cycle of shouting and shutdowns on display in Washington, D.C.”
