Survey Reveals Top Valentine’s Day Gifts for 2018

The results of a recent national Valentineʻs Day survey by TopCashBack.com reveal the top three gifts for this yearʻs February holiday include: thoughtful gifts, spending quality time together and dinner or a movie.

The survey also finds that 72 percent of couples in Hawai‘i will spend $100 or less on their significant others on Feb. 14. Men expect to spend more money than women; sixty percent of men aim to spend less than $100 whereas 41 percent of women expect to spend less than $50.

While men and women tend to agree on their favored gifts for the holiday, their preferences for least desired gifts vary:

TopCashBack.com 2018 survey gathered its results using a cross section of nearly 5,800 adults aged 18 or older. The website offers rebates and coupons at retailers nationwide.
