Santa Claus is Coming to Queens’ Marketplace
Santa Claus is on his way to Queens’ MarketPlace on Hawai‘i Island to help celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with free photo ops for families Saturday through Friday, Dec.16 to 22, between 5 and 8 p.m. at the Town Clock.
During his annual holiday visit to Hawai‘i, Santa can also enjoy beautiful hula performances, a mini-concert series and one of his favorite holiday movies, without stretching his travel budget.
The movie, concerts, and hula performances take place at the Coronation Pavilion.
All holiday events are free and open to the public.
Concerts feature Hawaiian music by notable island entertainers like slack key master Ben Kaili, the unique Canadian-Hawaiian vibe of Maluhia, Kohala’s acoustic blend of folk, island and jazz with Grammy-inner Charles Michael Brotman, the multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano winner Darlene Ahuna & Friends.
Hula, presented by three island hālau from Waimea, Waikoloa and North Kohala share keiki dancing and special holiday songs with aloha from the heart.
On Saturday, Dec. 23, the Will Ferrell comedy classic Elf screens at the Coronation Pavilion.
