HPD Seeking Male Theft Suspect

The Hawaiʻi Island Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred at a retail store within the 300 block of Kīlauea Avenue in Hilo.

On Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at approximately 4:15 p.m., an unidentified male party entered the store, selected a watch from a display and left the store in an unknown direction without paying for the item.

The male party is described as Caucasian, possibly in his 30s, 5 feet-10 inches tall, 180 pounds, light to medium skin, light brown hair ( possibly in a ponytail), with unknown tattoos and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, khaki pants, a green or gray backpack and gray shoes.
