The County of Hawai‘i Traffic Division will begin restriping work on Kīlauea Avenue from the 4-mile bridge to Hale Manu Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The north-bound left turn pocket exiting Highway 11 onto Kīlauea Avenue will close during this period.

North-bound motorists can use East Palai Street as an alternate route to access Kīlauea Avenue. The lane closure is necessary to complete the roadway restriping work in a timely manner and for the safety of the workers and the traveling public.
