Olivia Clare Boutique Opens at Queens’ MarketPlace
The newest member of the Queens’ MarketPlace ‘ohana, Olivia Clare Boutique opened its doors on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, with a soft opening at the Kohala Coast resort shopping center.
Featuring unique Hawaiʻi-made fashions, accessories and products for the home, this new store represents four generations in the creative life of owner-operator Audrey Frydenlund.
After learning the art of jewelry-making, Frydenlund expanded her passion into a cottage industry. She said her Etsy shop did so well so fast that she was able to branch out into a premier brick-and-mortar store in Hawi, with her mother, Kathryn. Frydenlund named the shop for her daughter, Olivia, and her grandmother, Kathryn’s mom, Clare.
This new location showcases Frydenlund’s original gemstone, pearl, sea glass and other jewelry.
Other items available include aloha wear for men, women and children, bath and body products, and fragrances made from island ingredients.
Locally made hand-dyed pareau, caps and microfiber beach towels, and delicious food products like Ahualoa Farms coffee, creatively flavored coconut candies by the Hawaiian Candyman and sweet-tangy Liliko’i puree by Davine Cocktail Mixes are also available for purchase.
The boutique will announce a grand opening later this month; however, the boutique is now open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
