The Blood Bank of Hawai‘i invites you to give thanks this season by making an appointment to donate blood. You never know whose life you’ll save. The Hawai‘i Island schedule is as follows:

West Hawai‘i

Nov. 6, 2017 LDS Waimea Ward – Cultural Hall 10:00 a.m.- 3:30 pm
Nov. 7, 2017 LDS Kona Stake Center – Cultural Hall 8:45 am- 5:15 pm
Nov. 8, 2017 LDS Kona Stake Center – Cultural Hall 7:00 am- 1:30 pm

East Hawai‘i

Nov. 20, 2017 LDS Hilo – Cultural Hall 8:45 am- 2:15 pm
Nov. 21, 2017 Aunty Sally Kaleohano’s Luau Hale – Main Room 7:30 am- 5:00 pm
Nov. 22, 2017 Naniloa Volcanoes Resort – Ho’omalimali 7:00 am- 1:00 pm

The general requirements to be a blood donor include:

  • Be in good health
  • Be 18 years of age or older (16-17 year old donors will need signed Blood Bank of Hawai‘i parent/legal guardian consent)
  • Weigh 110 pounds or more (Additional height/weight requirements apply for female donors 16-18 years old)
