The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo College of Continuing Education and Community Services will offer a course on Eating Mindfully for the Holidays, on Monday, Nov. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at UH Hilo’s Kanaka‘ole Hall, Room 109.

Instructor Sarah Josef, who holds a B.S. in dietetics and an M.A. in holistic health education, will teach students various strategies for healthier holiday eating. Participants will learn how to enjoy their meals without the pressure of traditional diets, so they can mindfully eat without guilt or remorse.

The cost for the course is $25.
