On Monday, Oct. 30, contractors will begin work on Kaūmana Drive near the Hokulani intersection resulting in one-lane traffic between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The Department of Water Supply says the project, part of the Piʻihonua-Kūkūau Reservoir and Transmission Improvements, is expected to continue for approximately three weeks.
One lane with traffic control will remain open during work hours throughout the duration of the installation work. The DWS says motorists can expect delays and should consider alternate routes if possible. Normal daily working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
