Looking Ahead
A high pressure system, the weather feature that brings us breezy winds, is forecast to produce windy weather through Thursday night. Winds will begin to weaken Friday. A band of showers is also forecast to move over the state on Friday and linger through the weekend. The shower band will dissipate early next week.
Today
We expect east winds from 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Mostly cloudy skies with scattered windward showers and afternoon isolated showers for the Kona side. Areas of leeward haze are expected. Temperatures up to 83° to 88°.

Tonight
East winds are expected up to 30 mph. For the Kona side, some isolated showers are possible to start, then clearing skies as the night goes on. Scattered windward showers are forecast overnight. Low temperatures from 71° to 76°.
