Big Island firefighters arrived at the scene of a one-story, unpermitted structure fire in Pāhoa on Forest Road in the early morning hours of Monday, Sept. 25, 2017,
They arrived on the scene at 3:53 a.m. to find the residence fully involved in flames; the fire was extinguished at 4:30 a.m.
The loss was estimated at $4,000.
