Hawai‘i Community College (Hawai‘i CC) is hosting a workshop on obtaining a college degree. The workshop takes place at the Hawai‘i CC Pālamanui campus in Kona on Tues., Aug. 29, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Koali Building (A), room 106.

The University Center, West Hawai‘i delivers over 50 degree and certificate programs from across the 10-campus University of Hawai‘i system. That means West Hawai‘i residents can obtain degrees from UH Mānoa, UH Hilo and UH West O‘ahu without moving away.

At the degree preparation workshop students can learn what degrees are offered in West Hawai‘I as well as the necessary steps to move forward, key deadlines, methods of program delivery, what it takes to be a successful distance learning student and more.

Attendees can also ask questions about the distance learning masters degrees offered through the UH Manoa Shidler College of Business. Degrees include the Distance Learning Executive MBA, Distance Learning Executive MBA – Health Care Management track and the Master of Human Resource Management.

RSVP online at www.shidler.hawaii.edu/info-session. For questions, contact Carrie Kuwada Phipps, educational specialist, at [email protected] or (808) 969-8808.
