Looking Ahead

Trade wind weather is forecast to continue for the state through the work week with clouds and showers mainly in our usual windward and mauka spots embedded in the trade winds. The leeward side of the Big Island will see clouds and showers during the afternoon through the late night hours. A slight increase in showers is expected later this week and into the weekend.

Today

We expect northeast winds around 15 to 20 mph with higher gusts. High temperatures are forecast from 83° to 88°. Partly sunny skies with scattered showers for windward spots and isolated afternoon showers forecast for the Kona side.

Tonight 

East winds are forecast up to 15 to 20 mph. Mostly cloudy skies with showers likely for windward spots after midnight and isolated evening showers for leeward areas, then clearing. Low temperatures from 70° to 75°.
