Planned lane closure, HELCO map

From Aug. 7 to 18, motorists can expect delays up to 20 minutes due to a planned partial lane closure of Highway 19 between the 16 and 17 mile markers in Hakalau.

The partial closure will allow crews from Hawai‘i Electric Light Company to upgrade transmission and distribution equipment to improve system reliability.

One lane will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
