Man in Critical Condition After Fall at Boiling Pots

A 44-year-old man was reported to be in critical condition after a fall at Boiling Pots into the Wailuku River on Sunday, July 30, 2017.

Upon arrival at 3:14 p.m., first responders found the man after talking to his family.

They said he  had slipped, struck his head and had fallen into river.

Chopper one deployed rescue divers, recovering victim and airlifted him to a landing zone. He was then transported to Hilo Medical Center in critical condition.
