KAPA Hawaiian FM morning personalities Jaz and Ka’ea welcomed Walter Ritte to the KAPA Cafe.
Walter is a Hawaiian activist and educator from Moloka‘i. He was part of the “Kaho‘olawe Nine”, a group of activists first to oppose the military bombings on Kaho’olawe. He has organized many community efforts for waters rights, fought against land development, and for the protection of marine animals and ocean resources.
