No Tsunami Threat to Hawai‘i from 7.4 Russia Quake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reports a 7.4 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:34 p.m. today in the Komandorskiye Ostrova Russia Region.

Based on available data a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is no tsunami threat to Hawai‘i.
