David Brown

David Eugene Brown
June 22, 1945 – July 9, 2017

David Eugene Brown, 72 of Kailua-Kona, was born in Indianapolis, IN, and passed away on July 9, 2017 in Kailua-Kona. David served our Country in the Army and worked as a manager of a poultry plant.

He is survived by spouse Memina; sons Tim Brown of Hilo; Tommy (Karey) Brown of Hilo; Arnold Ragasajo of Kailua-Kona; brother Bill (Jan) Brown of Indianapolis, IN; sisters Patty Jackson of Indianapolis, IN; Phyllis (Roger) Harrell of Indianapolis, IN; Wilma (Eddie) Driggers of Dade City, FL; step-mother Frances Carroll of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services with Military Honors will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 at noon at West Hawai‘i Veteran’s Cemetery.

Judy Rae Eslit
December 15, 1943 – July 5, 2017

Judy Rae Eslit, 73, of Kamuela, departed to Heaven on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at North Hawai‘i Community Hospital in Kamuela. Born in Cleveland, OH, she was a homemaker and an exceptionally dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Judy loved her horses and other animals, knitting amazing creations, and spending all her time with her family. She is survived, loved, treasured, and missed by her husband, Marcos Eslit Sr. of Kamuela; son Marcos Eslit Jr. of Kapolei; daughters Petra (Kekai) Kaleleiki of Kamuela; Angelina Eslit of Kapolei; brother James Manley of Michigan; sister Jane Williams; nine grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life for Judy will be held at a later time. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo.

Joshua Taylor Watanabe, 18, Passed away on June 28, 2017 at home in Hilo. Joshua was born on March 31, 1999 in Honolulu. He is survived by his father; Darryl Watanabe and his wife Sabina. Grandparents; Marjorie Watanabe, Constancia Tupas, Allen Cheung and his wife Emily, brothers; Samuel Watanabe, Quintin Watanabe, Kelvin Magsipoc, sisters; Rochelle Watanabe, and Kimberly Magsipoc. Numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Memorial Service to be held at Hilo Missionary Church, 1044 Komohana St, Hilo on July 23, 2017 at 2 p.m. visitation, 3 p.m.

Julia Cadiz Cadelinia, 84 of Wailuku, passed away on July 5, 2017, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Jan. 4, 1933 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017, at Norman’s Mortuary; service will begin at 7 p.m. Visitation resumes at Full Gospel Temple on Saturday, July 22, 2017, with visitation from 9 a.m.; service begins at 9:30 a.m.; final viewing from 11 to 11:30 a.m.; and burial to follow, 12:30 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku.

Julia was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymando Cadelinia. She is survived by her siblings, Arcadio (Vicenta) Cadiz, Catalina (Faustino) Acorda, Felicidad (Nicolas-deceased) Cabe, Martin (Linda) Cadiz, Margie (John) Casinas; and many loving nephews and nieces.
