Trail & Area Closures at Kaloko-Honokōhau NHP

Trail and area closures at Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park are scheduled between 7 and 11 a.m. on the following days:

Friday, July 14: ‘Aimakapā: closure of Visitor Center, VC Parking, Mauka/Makai Trail

Friday, July 21: Kaloko: closure of Kaloko Road, portions of Māmalahoa Trail, Kaloko Parking Area and Kaloko Picnic Area

Friday, July 28: ‘Aimakapā: closure of Visitor Center, VC Parking, Mauka/Makai Trail

Friday, Aug. 11: Kaloko: closure of Kaloko Road, portions of Māmalahoa Trail, Kaloko Parking Area and Kaloko Picnic Area

The closure will provide public safety during the removal of invasive, non-native vegetation using helicopter operations.
