North Hawai‘i Community Hospital to Host Forum
North Hawai‘i Community Hospital, in partnership with Waimea Community Association, will host a community meeting on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, starting at 5:15 p.m. in the Waimea School cafeteria.
Leading the presentation will be Art Ushijima, chair of the North Hawai‘i Community Hospital Board of Trustees, and president and CEO of The Queen’s Health Systems.
Ushijima will be joined by Cindy Kamikawa, RN, president of the North Hawai‘i Community Hospital; Dr. Gary Goldberg, chief medical officer; and Dr. Lyn Lam, Ambulatory Services medical director.
They will provide an update on hospital services and facilities, including expansion plans for the emergency room, and discuss topics such as physician recruitment and new technology.
