Celebrating 22 years, Huggo’s Wahine Tournament, an all-women fishing tournament, begins on Saturday, July 29.

Highly competitive wahine fish for cash prizes awarded to the teams with the largest marlin/billfish weighing more than 300 pounds.

Every year, the tournament has a theme that sets the spirit of the weekend. This year’s theme is Disney characters. Fairytales, Neverland, mermaids and even Captain Hook may be spotted as participants compete for great prizes for the best-decorated boat and best-costumed team.

Huggo’s Wahine Tournament is limited to 75 teams.
