Volcano Art Center (VAC) is hosting a class for stained glass students looking to sharpen their skills. “Stained Glass II: Panel Lamp Project,” will be held at VAC on Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25, and July 1, 2, 8 and 9, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Instructed by Claudia McCall, the class will explore the design and construction of triangular shaped table panel lamps. Students will be creating their own stained glass table lamps. The technique can be applied to other panel lamp shapes.

McCall will provide patterns. Students may bring their own designs but custom patterns will need to be adapted to three panels that measure 4.25 inches by 9 inches.
