The Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona) Mulch Public Pick-up Area will be closed on Saturday, June 10.

The closing is in anticipation of a large turnout for the Household Hazardous Waste collection event.

The road which is utilized for the Mulch Public Pick-up Area is also used for the Household Hazardous collection event.

The Department of Environmental Management apologizes for any inconvenience that this closure may cause the public during this event.

Mulch loading will be available on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
