Trail, Area Closures at Kaloko-Honokōhau

Trail and area closures are scheduled in June 2017 for Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park. All closures will be in effect from 6 to 10 a.m.
The closure will provide public safety while the park uses helicopter operations for the removal of invasive, non-native vegetation.
- Friday, June 9: Kaloko: closure of Kaloko Road, portions of Māmalahoa Trail, Kaloko Parking Area and Kaloko Picnic Area
- Friday, June 16: Kaloko: closure of Kaloko Road, portions of Māmalahoa Trail, Kaloko Parking Area and Kaloko Picnic Area
- Friday, June 23: ‘Aimakapā: closure of Visitor Center (all day closure due to road construction), VC Parking, Mauka/Makai Trail
- Friday, June 30: Kaloko: closure of Kaloko Road, portions of Māmalahoa Trail, Kaloko Parking Area and Kaloko Picnic Area
