Manuel Garcia Shaw Pineo
April 6, 1980 – April 6, 2017

Manuel Garcia Shaw Pineo, 37, of Captain Cook, Hawaiʻi, was born in Stoughton, Mass., on April 6, 1980, and passed away on April 6, 2017 in Kealakekua, Hawaiʻi. Manuel worked as a gardener and landscaper.

He is survived by mother Maria Vidito of Captain Cook, Hawaiʻi; and maternal grandmother Margarita Porter of Rochester, Wa.

Memorial Services will be announced at a later date.

Kenneth Hee Than Woo, 98, of Hawaiian Paradise Park, Keau, died March 31 in Hawaiʻi Kai, Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. Visitation 11-11:30 a.m. Friday, May 5, at Ballard Family Mortuary in Hilo. Arrangements by Ultimate Cremation Services.

Wilfred Nalu Doggie Dias, 72 of Waiheʻe, Maui formally from Kona, Hawaiʻi passed away on April 4, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on May 15, 1944 in Lānaʻi City.

Wilfred retired from the Kona Surf Hotel in the Maintenance Department.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary Kahului from 5 to 6:30 p.m.; with service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Second day visitation will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Waiheʻe from 9 to 10 a.m.; mass to begin at 11 a.m.; cremation to follow.

Wilfred is survived by his wife, Marian Blossom Akiu Dias; sons, Kevin (Marisa) Kiyonaga, Steven (Lori) Kiyonaga; daughters, Tyrell Pohai Dias, Renee Kiyonaga-Moyer; brothers, Daniel (Trinka) Dias, Gregory (Ranell) Kaialiilii Sr., Glenn Kahae; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by parents, Lai and Virginia Kahae, and brother, Earl Kahae.

Angeline “Aunty Lani” Leilani Levi
October 22, 1924 – March 31, 2017

Angeline “Aunty Lani” Leilani Levi, 92, of Lahaina, Maui, passed away on March 31, 2017,
at her Lahaina home with family by her side. She was born on Oct. 22, 1924, in
Keomoku, Lānaʻi.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Norman’s Mortuary in Wailuku. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m.; service starts at 11 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku.

Randy Hanohano “Buta” Blando Jr., 38, passed away at his residence on March 20, 2017.

Leaving behind to cherish his memories are the loves of his life his daughter Kyla-Marie Blando-Kahaialii (Jamie Fisher) son Shadd Blando and step son Shiloh Lopez.

His father Randy Hanohano Blando Sr. mother Francine (Harvey) Santana sisters Lei Blando (KK Kukahiko) Erica Blando (James Edwards) brother Everette Blando nephew Keiji Kukahiko.

A celebration of life will be held at Hanakao’o Beach Park (Canoe Beach) in Lahaina on April 29, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.. Family requests loose flowers to scatter.
