A front is forecast to stall and dissipate north of the islands today with high pressure setting up on Tuesday bringing trade winds back to Hawaii. A disturbance high in the atmosphere is expected to dig northwest of the islands through the second half of the work week.

We have light east-southeast flow this weekend with afternoon sea breezes up to 10 to 20 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 81° to 86° and feeling a bit warmer. Partly sunny skies in the morning with mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon and isolated showers. Volcanic haze could be a problem today.
