Looking Ahead
Limited showers through the end of the work week with light to moderate winds in place for the state. Winds are forecast to lighten up and shift to southeasterlies for the weekend. This means we could see some volcanic haze and a shift to local land and sea breezes instead of trade wind conditions. Trades are forecast to fill back in Monday with a return to showers favoring windward and mauka spots.
Today
We have east winds today around 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 82° to 87°. Mostly sunny skies are forecast with partly cloudy skies for the Kona side in the afternoon and just isolated showers.
UV index at 13 (“extreme” exposure level)
Tonight
