Looking Ahead

Northeast to east winds are forecast through the work week, getting weaker toward the middle of the week. A front is expected to stall north of Hawaii with dry weather forecast during that time. Friday winds should pick back up in strength and bring more normal trade wind showers.

Today 

We have northeast winds today around 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 81° to 86°. Partly cloudy skies with scattered windward showers. The Kona side will be mostly sunny to start with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers in the afternoon.

Tonight 

Northeast winds are forecast around 15 mph. Partly cloudy skies are expected for Hawaii County with scattered windward showers after midnight and otherwise isolated showers county-wide. Low temperatures from 68° to 73°.
